TASK 5- How have you attracted/addressed your target audience?

Our primary target audience is girls aged 15-24.

A typical member of my target audience is a girl who loved ballet and movies(especially horror and thrillers). Her favourite programs were "Got To Dance"(for the dance) and Sherlock(she is interested in science).

Our secondary target audience is boys and men aged 15-24.

 I feel we defiantly attracted this kind of audience, escpeically for the ballet aspect. Teenage girls love beautiful clothes and elegant things. We have covered the beautiful clothes department by using the ballerina costume which we spent a long time choosing. The dance scene is very elegant and beautiful which will appeal to most girls because they love elegant things and fashion. Teenage girls can also relate to our actress at the start of the film because she is also a teenage girl and girls watching this can imagine themselves in this role.


Our film is full of suspense and the film will include a scene where a girl is kidnapped which will be on the edge on the seat entertainment. This will appeal to a huge market of people who love being in suspense and love to be caught up in action. Teenage boys will escpaially love this because normally boys love action games therefore they will like to see this scene where we have lots of action. Teenage boys will also like our actress at the beginning because boys are interested in young good looking girls and this is what we have. The boys will also look up to our two male police detectives because young boys all have people they would like to be like(superman, Rambo) and these two detectives can also be role models for the boys. We also put in a female detective to give the female audience members a role model and a character to root for. Within the film we will have guns and cars will will appeal to men/boys who love gadgets.

                                                                                                                                                                    

I feel our actress at the begging of the film will attract allot of young female teenagers even if they are not a fan of ballet because this character is a strong independent girl and I feel young teenagers will aspire to be like her. Our thriller will also appear to the older generation hence the adult cast members(dectecives). Our police detectives are young men who will appeal to women because they will  be like a sex object to lots of our female adult audiences. Men will also be attracted to them because they will be able to relate to them especially if they are working men. The office scene will also appeal to adults who are working because they are familiar to office environments therefore they can relate to these working characters.
